ADMISSIONS PROCESS
At The SAE School, we believe the admissions process should feel less like a formality and more like the beginning of your family’s journey with us. It all starts with a visit to our campus, where you’ll experience firsthand the energy, warmth, and creativity that make our community so special.
From there, families are invited to complete an application and share information that helps us get to know your child as both a learner and an individual. Our admissions team then carefully reviews each application, and when appropriate, schedules evaluations to ensure the best classroom fit. For our youngest learners in preschool, we offer a dedicated evaluation morning with our caring staff, giving your child a chance to explore, engage, and shine.
Every step of the process is designed to be thoughtful, supportive, and reflective of our commitment to pairing each student with the right environment for growth. We can’t wait to welcome you and your child into our school family.
ALL GRADES STEP O1
To begin the process or enrolling your student at SAE, first schedule and complete a tour of the SAE campus.

Submit a Student Application, Learner’s Profile, and other relevant documents at our enrollment portal.

Our admissions team will assess the student application and corresponding documents and our Director of Admissions will schedule an evaluation for students who are 2 ½ and older..
*Evaluations are done Tuesday-Thursday beginning at 9:30.

The Admissions Team will assess new information which includes teacher feedback from visit and the Director of Admission will contact the Parent on decision.

Submit a Student Application, Learner’s Profile, and other relevant documents, including at least one teacher recommendation from a Math and/or ELA/Reading teacher and your student’s transcripts for the last 2-3 years, in our enrollment portal.

Our admissions team will assess the student application and corresponding documents and our Director of Admissions will schedule your child’s screening and evaluation days.
*Screening and evaluation days typically takes place Tuesday-Thursday 8:30-3:00. Please be advised that times and days can change based off the time of the school year and activities that are happening at that time. You will be notified and provided with notice

The SAE School is an independent project-based learning school located in Mableton, GA, serving preschool-8th grade students in the Metro Atlanta area. While we are not affiliated with a specific church or religion, our school’s core values are clearly evident by our actions and respect for others’ beliefs, customs, and traditions. ONCE YOU’VE COMPLETED THE STEPS…
Within a few days of a student completing all steps of the admissions process, the school makes and communicates the decision. Families do not have to wait until April to find out if their child has been accepted.
